HOW IT WORKS

Step 1:

Complete the online course to be issued a certificate of completion to submit with your online application. Blended learning format includes 16-hours of combined learning including online course and live-fire qualification. You’ll also receive an Arizona Certificate of Completion to apply for your AZ CCW.

Step 2:

Complete live-fire qualification with a local NRA Certified Instructor. Must qualify with the firearms you plan to list on your permit card. You may list up to 6 firearms. Must be issued a live-fire qualification certificate of completion by the instructor to submit with your online application. *Fee’s vary nationwide. No qualification required for Arizona.

Step 3:

Submit your online application and upload all the required documents. Then schedule your interview and pay the fee online. Riverside County Application and Issuance fee is $205.39 paid directly to Riverside County Sheriff. Arizona fee is $67.45

Step 4:

Complete your interview via ZOOM with the Sheriff Investigator. 

Step 5:

Receive information to submit (3) physical fingerprint cards for California and mail in the cards. Fingerprints can be done near you. Arizona Accepts Digital / Electronic Prints.

Step 6:

Sheriff will issue permit within 120 days. Arizona takes up to 75 days. We offer additional Concierge Services for CA & AZ to expedite the entire process. 

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for a California Non-Resident CCW?

To apply, you must complete our online course, schedule a video interview with a Sheriff Investigator, and pass a live-fire qualification. The application submission process is all done online through a portal designated by the county. After completion of the online course you will be given instructions and detailed next steps. We’ve streamlined the entire process so it can all be done conveniently online and remotely from anywhere in the U.S.A.

Fingerprinting can also be done remotely. Arizona accepts Digital Fingerprints, California requires a passport style photo and (2) Fulls sets of prints and (1) with the right thumb only on FD-258 Cards.

If you live in Riverside County, Live-Fire-Qualifications are $75 and held on a weekly basis at our Riverside Facility. For Out-Of-State / Non-Residents we have a network of 3,800 Instructors that we can connect you with and detailed instructions so you can qualify near you, from anywhere in the USA. Out-Of-State Applicants are welcome to come to Riverside to complete the Live-Fire with us. Qualificatons are booked independently with the instructors and prices vary from about $75 to $150 depending on the number of firearms you intend to qualify with, your skill level, range time and instructor fees. (In some cases it may take certain students 1-2 hours to qualify while others may take less time depending on their skill level and number of firearms to qualify with.)

Student will need to fire 6 rounds on each firearm they qualify with and shoot each firearm at 3 different distances. 15 feet, 30 feet and 45 feet. Shooting 6 rounds in the 7 ring of a B-27 Target drawing from concealment.

After you complete the online course we will supply you with links to book your California Live-Fire Qualification in Riverside or Arizona or we can assist you with locating an instructor near you. We do not publish our list of instructors but will help locate an instructor near you to administer the live-fire qualification.

Arizona does not require a live-fire qualification. With this Bundled Master Class you will also receive a Certificate of Completion that is required to apply for an Arizona CCW Permit online directly to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

For Non-Residents / Out-Of-State Applicants applying through Riverside County there is not Roster Requirement, No Threaded Barrels, 10 Round Magazine Capacity Only, No Extended Magazines. Riverside County Residents must adhere to the California Roster Requirements. Riverside County Allows up to (6) Firearms to be listed on your California CCW Permit and you must qualify with each firearm.
